On Friday, the Bridger Scouts football team hosted Northern Cheyenne. Fresh off a close win over the Fromberg Falcons, the Scouts were looking to improve their record. With an offense that built around speed, the Scouts relied on their speedy back, Wyatt Schroeder to get the team started. While the team got off to a slow start only out scoring Northern Cheyenne 8-0 in the 1st quarter, the Scouts offense shot out of a canon in the 2nd quarter. Behind the legs of Schroeder and the arm of Tryston Matt, the Scouts jumped out to a 44-12 lead by the end of the 1st half. Slowing the pace down in the 2nd half, the Scouts closed out the game by pushing their score to 57, and only allowing one touchdown in the 2nd half. The Scouts 57-18 victory was fueled by Schroeder who amassed 241 yards rushing on only 17 carries.
