Thirty-five people attended the community work/repair day, “Ride Free! Red Lodge Skate Park,” at the Red Lodge skate park, Aug. 10. Travis Burdick of DSVS organized the event to help fix some of the issues at the park. “The clean-up went really well. We are currently figuring out how to rebuild the older half pipe or to take components of that ramp and use them to build 1/4 pipes.
We stripped the ramp down to the frame to assess the damage to the wood. We will be holding a work party within the month to finish the project,” said Burdick.
