State wildlife officials have euthanized a 3-yearold male grizzly bear captured on private land north of Red Lodge after it killed eight sheep last week and wounded two more. Fish, Wildlife and Parks officials say the bear was euthanized at the agency wildlife lab in Bozeman on Tuesday. The bear was captured Monday. FWP says one sheep was killed north of Red Lodge on Thursday and seven more were killed and two were injured on Saturday night. Federal and state wildlife officials found the bear had been in corrals and close to buildings. It was the third time the bear had been captured. It was captured and moved in both 2011 and 2012 along with his mother and sibling along the south fork of the Shoshone River in Wyoming.
