A purr-fectly doggone great evening for the animals

Nashville recording artists Joey + Rory's performance delighted 230 attendees this past Saturday at the 6th Annual Fundraiser to benefit the Beartooth Humane Alliance. This fun-filled evening of Joey + Rory's unique charm and talent had us laughing and crying. A net amount of $23,000 was raised to help animals in need through our foster and adoption program, spay/neuter programs, humane educational programming, supply of pet food to area food banks and hay to horses at risk of starvation or abandonment.  We will never forget Joey + Rory's generosity in sharing their incredible musical talents for the benefit of Carbon County animals. And as if that were not enough, Joey + Rory surprised us all with a special auction for a private concert. Our deep and heartfelt gratitude goes to Joey + Rory for all they have done for BHA and we look forward to their return!
 And a huge thank you goes to Anita Shiver for chairing this event, Larry Black for "connecting" us with Joey + Rory, and volunteers Rhonda Baker, Sarah Harris, Jeanette Hill, Karen Kohley, Dennis Stevens, Sharon Williams and Wally Zook.  We are also very grateful for the generosity of our event sponsors.
