On the Map with National Robotics Week

The Boys & Girls Club had an incredible turnout for National Robotics Week. All week long, kids participated in hands-on robotics programming that included: driving a “Mars Rover,” creating art with a laser printer, making PB&J with the sandwich robot, and battling with Lego robots. In addition to our regular Red Lodge Club members, kids came from Roberts, Fromberg, and Bridger, and we had a group of 20 kids from the Yellowstone Boys & Girls Club join us on Thursday. None of last week’s tremendous success would have been possible without our mastermind volunteer, Ken Whistler. We are so lucky to have his enthusiasm, dedication, and pure joy from working with youth. We look forward to putting our Club on the map again in 2018!
