Lola M. Coyle

Our mother and grandmother, Lola M. Coyle, passed away on Aug. 27, 2013 in Liberty Lake, Wash.  She was born on July 30, 1932 to Tony and Marie Farias in Fromberg.  Her father, along with his brothers, homesteaded at the head of Blue Water Creek.  Later they bought a dairy where Lola was raised. 

After selling the dairy her parents bought a Hereford ranch in the Clark Fork Valley.  Lola graduated from Fromberg High School in 1950. She worked as a billing clerk for Buckingham Freight Lines and Garrett Freight Lines in Billings, and retired as an office manager for ANR Freight Lines in Denver, Colo.  She loved golf and gardening and adored her grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her parents.  Lola is survived by her sister, Viola Jones, Walla Walla, Wash.; her brother, George Farias (Mary Ann), Billings; her children, Diane Skalitzky (Rod), Liberty Lake, Wash.; Rick Coyle (Tammy Jo), Worden; and Renee Kayser (Bob), Surprise, Ariz.; three grandsons and four great grandsons.  Graveside services were held at Pines Cemetery in Spokane Valley, Wash.  Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 8th Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001.
