Luther: All children who will be at least five years old by Sept. 10, 2013 are welcome to attend the screening on Monday, April 15. During the screening, the children will work with several professionals who will evaluate their readiness in the areas of verbal, perceptual, and auditory processing. The results of this test can help determine if your child is ready for kindergarten. Even if you know your child is going to kindergarten next year, the screening gives the teacher valuable information about your child’s strengths.
If you are considering having your child attend Luther, please plan on attending the screening. It is also a great way for your child to see the school and meet the teacher! You can make an appointment for your child between 1:15 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. on Monday, April 15. Please call Luther School and ask for Katie Speegle to set up an appointment. The number for the school is 406-446-2480. You will need to bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate and immunization records.
Joliet: The Joliet School will be holding their Kindergarten Round-up on Wednesday, April 17, 2013. They will be testing from 8:15 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. The testing will take approximately 45 minutes for each child. Your child must be five years of age on, or before, Sept. 10, 2013 to attend the 2013-2014 school year. Please bring your child, a copy of their birth certificate and a copy of their shot records. You may call the elementary secretary, Mrs. Williams, for an appointment at 962-3541
