Jessie “Pat” Burlison

Jessie Mae “Pat” Burlison, 92, died early Tuesday morning, Aug. 22, at Cedar Wood Healthcare Community.
Pat was born to Ole and Irene (Reineke) Jacobson on May 30, 1925 in Forsyth, Montana. Her father died when she was 18 months old and her mother later married Mr. Hill, who adopted Pat.
She was raised and educated in Forsyth where she graduated from Forsyth High School in 1943. Pat married W. G. “Babe” Burlison in 1946. “Babe” preceded her in death in 2012.
Pat worked for Mountain Bell in Red Lodge for over 25 years. Then she worked for 7 years at the Montana Bank, retiring in 1988.
Pat was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and enjoyed playing bridge. She was also a member of Calvary Episcopal Church and associated organizations.
Pat and Babe enjoyed floating and fishing on the Yellowstone River. They loved being outdoors, anywhere.
Pat is survived by daughters, Dian (Les) Clark and Sippy Burlison; and grandchildren, Kevin and Lesly Clark and Josh Burlison; and many friends around town.
Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 28 in Smith-Olcott Funeral Chapel. Interment was in the Red Lodge Cemetery. A luncheon was shared following the graveside at Calvary Episcopal Church.
