Great benefit

To the Editor:
I would like to comment on the recent article published in the May 16 edition of the News, “Red Lodge Digs Deep to Stay Open”. While many businesses are struggling during our period of change, I believe we all agree updating public utilities is a great long-term benefit to our community.

Also, I would like to point out that we are fortunate to have such a talented crew working on our main street. Often times, I observe individual crew members who are capable of running multiple pieces of equipment at a skill pace. Other times, I notice crew members quickly running from task to task. I realize it is not easy to be under timeline pressures while constantly working in the public eye, yet this group manages to stay friendly and focused-there’s no doubt they are a group of hard-working, talented, caring individuals.

As business owners, we were aware of the up-coming construction and what it may mean for us. Now that it is upon us, we must remain positive and be supportive of the construction project in order to continue to move things forward efficiently. Keep in mind, next season we will all be raving about our newly paved main street.
Sincerely,

Danielle Moore
