Divers continue search for missing swimmer

Carbon County officials are continuing to search for a 22-year-old male from Pennsylvania who is believed to have drowned in East Rosebud Lake, west of Red Lodge in the Custer National Forest. According to Carbon County Undersheriff Dan McJunkin, Christopher M Elliot went swimming with three friends July 23 and had decided to swim across the lake. McJunkin said Elliot is still listed as a missing person. Divers from Billings and Gallatin County along with search dogs and helicopters have been searching the lake and area since the incident.
