Christmas Stroll in Red Lodge
Friday, December 6, 2013 - 12:00am - Saturday, December 7, 2013 - 12:00am
The Christmas Stroll Committee is pleased to announce the annual Christmas Stroll in Red Lodge, Montana! This year the event will be held in beautiful downtown Red Lodge, Montana on Friday, Dec. 6 and Saturday, Dec. 7, from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. both evenings. Red Lodge Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Patty Davis, notes, "This year's Christmas Stroll will be a classic Stroll to remember complete with the warmth of family and friends, the sweet smell of cider and sustenance abound! All ages can enjoy late night laughter wrapped in the welcoming generosity of their community and neighbors.” On Friday night the Blade Parade will take place at 6 p.m. heading south on Broadway from 8th Street. Santa will be at the Elks on both nights from 6 p.m.-9 p.m.; Tricksy the Elf will be at the Elks both nights from 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.; there will be ongoing nightly horse-drawn wagon rides provided by Beartooth Wagon & Sleigh Rides from 6 p.m.-9 p.m.; live music will be available at a variety of locations and of course, endless holiday treats and sales! Please note the closure of Broadway Avenue to vehicle traffic on both nights of the Christmas Stroll. We encourage everyone to be safe and mindful while the Committee is managing the street closure. We ask that you find alternate routes other than Broadway Avenue beginning at 4 p.m. on both evenings until it reopens at 9:30 p.m. There will be “no parking” signs lining both sides of Broadway Avenue between 8th Street and 14th Street for maximum safety and enjoyment by all. If you are a nonprofit and would like to have a complimentary space on the WEST side of Broadway Avenue to increase awareness for your nonprofit, please contact us for a registration form. There will be several nonprofit booths but the majority of the street will be clear for nighttime enjoyment. The EAST Side of Broadway Avenue will remain free of vehicles and booths to be used as the emergency access route and nightly wagon rides.
