Swanky Fork Kitchen Shop has two part-time positions available for two people who love cooking, food culture and kitchen tools. 1-2 days per week plus 1 weekend per month. Ideal candidates will be available to share work responsibilities during peak selling weeks of 4th of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Weekday shifts will vary during the month to allow for all staff members to have workplace flexibility. Must be comfortable connecting with people, organizing and pricing products, focusing on shop appearance and sales transactions on a cash register. $8/hour until first review, product discounts and performance rewards. Responsible for front desk duties including prompt and courteous answering of phones and greeting customers, as well as other duties as needed. Provide processing support to department members. Assist with processing client and prospect needs in accordance with company objectives and procedures.

Essential Duties:

• Answering multi-line phone system (including transfers)

• Greet and direct visitors • Monitor faxes

• Maintain front desk area and lobby

• Process client service requests and submit to the appropriate insurance companies.

• Process incoming-mail.

• Assist in renewal processing.

• Maintain electronic client files per agency standards.

• Follow agency procedures and insurance company regulations.

• Maintain good working relationships within office and department.

• 0-1 years insurance experience.

• Insurance knowledge preferred, but not required.

• Organize, set, and maintain priorities.

• Work with a normal amount of supervision.

• Strong clerical skills.

• Work normally scheduled hours

• Property/casualty license preferred, but not required.

• Excellent verbal skills and telephone etiquette.

• Perform other specific duties or projects as assigned

Technical Qualifications: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Sagitta, and agency rating software.
